One of Western Australia’s leading providers of fire protection services to the resources sector, Firesafe Service and Maintenance Pty Ltd (Firesafe), has been awarded a contract by Chevron Australia Pty Ltd (Chevron) for the service and maintenance of fire protection equipment to support the company’s operational assets in Western Australia.
The contract will see Firesafe service and maintain all fire protection assets including fire detection and suppression systems which were proudly locally designed, manufactured and installed by Firesafe’s construction division in Bibra Lake.
This will assist Firesafe position itself as one of the preferred service providers for fire protection in the WA resources industry and shall see Firesafe one step closer to achieving their goal of being the preferred service provider for fire protection in the WA resources industry.
Firesafe’s Operations Manager, Will Graham said they are delighted to be continuing their relationship with Chevron.
“We have undertaken the service and maintenance of fire protection equipment for Chevron’s WA Oil Business Unit on Barrow Island since early 2011. We look forward to working with Chevron as the company’s LNG assets move from construction to operations,” said Mr Graham.
Firesafe’s safety record, attention to health and safety management, along with a highly experienced team were also contributing factors in being awarded the contract.
Firesafe Service and Maintenance is a subsidiary unit of Firesafe United Group.
